Herbal Tallow Cream

from $10.00

Ingredients: organic and grass-fed tallow butter (all of my tallow is currently sourced directly from The Fat Lady Tallow - linked below), herb-infused oil blend (jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, mango butter, just a little beeswax, and scented with lavender and patchouli essential oils.

(Oil blend is infused with rose hips, rose petals, calendula, yarrow, and chamomile)

Truly, one of my favorite ways to love on my skin. I’ve always had senstive and acne-prone skin, so finding products I could rely on has always felt tricky. Not only that, I like many of us, I started recognizing just how bad our “standard” skincare products are for us and our wellbeing. Most of what I make have started as recipes for myself and I gotta say, this one may be my favorite so far.

Here’s some of the biggest ways tallow can nourish and support our skin -

  • the fatty acids are responsible for a good amount of the support - helping to deeply moisturize, softening skin, and helps to create a natural, protective barrier from environmental influences (sun and other pollution)

  • full of vitamins A, D, E, and K

  • known to support the wound healing process

  • contains CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) which has been shown to reduce inflammation and calm irritations.

The herbal oil blend adds an extra kiss of nourishment. Rose hips are full of vitamin C and antioxidants. Rose petals are soothing, cooling, and calming to the skin. Yarrow being a natural anti-septics, Calendula a great wound healer and Chamomile relaxing our nervous systems (because we all could use a little extra support there.)
